Number of Games

Each team will be scheduled to play a minimum of three (3) games for play on Saturday and Sunday. If unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or late withdrawals, force games to be cancelled, the VIP Tournament is not liable and there will be no refunds for unplayed games. Each age group in each level of competition will have a separate semi-final and championship game. Semi-final games are scheduled for Sunday and Championship games are scheduled for Monday. The VIP Tournament will ATTEMPT to grant scheduling requests for the weekend. However, due to the size and scope of the competition, this may not always be possible. Depending on the applications received, each age group could not be represented in each competition level. Age groups are based on the date of birth of the oldest player as follows:

U-19 Players born 8/1/89 and younger	U-13 Players born 8/1/95 and younger
U-18 Players born 8/1/90 and younger	U-12 Players born 8/1/96 and younger*
U-17 Players born 8/1/91 and younger	U-11 Players born 8/1/97 and younger*
U-16 Players born 8/1/92 and younger	U-10 Players born 8/1/98 and younger*
U-15 Players born 8/1/93 and younger	U-09 Players born 8/1/99 and younger*
U-14 Players born 8/1/94 and younger

 

*Combining of age groups will be done at the Tournament Committee’s discretion, if needed.

**The U-9 and U-10 age groups will play 7v7 and U11 and U-12 will play 8v8, all on smaller fields.

Awards

The winning team members in each Championship game will receive individual Championship Trophy’s. Each player on the runner-up team will receive a Finalist Trophy.
